About
My name is Stephen Lyons and I am a Father, Husband, Entrepreneur, Pastor, Teacher, Author, and Mentor. I received my Bachelors of Business Administration with a major in Accounting from North Carolina Central University (NCCU) in Durham, NC. I later obtained my Master of Divinity from Shaw University Divinity School in Raleigh, NC.

I started P and L Accounting Services in 2003 as a service to my immediate family, church family, and low income taxpayers. It quickly grew and expanded to the point where I eventually incorporated the business. With years of tax and corporate accounting under my belt I have become an asset to many individuals and business owners. I have amassed knowledge in several areas of finance and accounting. Some of these areas include: accounts receivable, income and expense accounting, balance sheet accounting, inventory accounting, bookkeeping, individual and business income tax and acquisitions and mergers accounting. My specialties are Church Finances, Planning and Administration, personal tax and finance, and small business tax and business planning.

I serve my community as an Adjunct Instructor at Wake Technical Community College and am an Intuit QuickBooks Certified User and ProAdvisor..
